This site has been created by the editor, using sources personally researched in the Norfolk Record Office for which full attribution is given, and/or permission to use copyrighted material from other sources has been obtained. Other material, some of which has already been published, has been contributed by villagers and others and collected over many years by the editor - photographs scanned, reminiscences recorded, letters copied and notes made. To the best of the editor's knowledge, no photos or other items are copyright and quotations from books and newspapers have been kept within the allowed limit.
